WTC Pad Lift Device (PLD)

WTC's Pad Lifting Devices (also called Pad Change Lines) use hydraulic cylinders to lift a group of track shoes off of the links. This eliminates the need to manually handle the shoes during pin and bushing turns, and makes the pad changeover process quicker, easier, and safer.  Adding a Pad Change Line will increase shop efficiency and help to maintain a safer working environment for operators.  The WTC Pad Lifting Device is available as a stand alone unit, or as an addition to your new or existing Track Press.

The PLD40 and PLD50 are designed for the WTC305 or WTC385 Track Presses, and are powered by the hydraulic system of the track press.

The PLD40 and PLD50 are also available as free-standing units, complete with 12,000 lb (5450 kg-f) winch and dedicated hydraulic power source.

WTC Pad Change Lines can be added to most conveyor systems manufactured by WTC Machinery, Trackmaster, Wolf, Centurion or Mattson.
