Model HCRS3 45,000 LB-FT Hydraulic Cylinder Repair Bench
This unit will generate and withstand up to 45,000 ft. lbs. of torque. The 48 inch fixed centerline design maximizes production and is operator friendly for repairs of both large and small bore cylinders.

These view of the HCRS3 shows all the main components of the bench:  Stationary head front for cylinders with rod eyes (mounting jaw available as an option), the torque cylinder assembly with its base parallel to the frame in the storage position and the Cylinder support stands.

FEATURES
1. Integral high torque ratchet and nut runner provides a safe and efficient source of measurable torque. The torque ratcheting mounting stand pivots and can be stored parallel to the bed when not in use. Nut runner generates 3,000 ft.-lbs. and 10 rpm

2. The torque wrench easily rotates 180 degrees from loosening position to the tightening setting.

3. Mounting cones provide easy self-centering of the eyes for both the rod and Barrel when positioning the cylinder on the bench.

4. The heavy duty spanner wrench uses either square or round dowels through the 1/2 inch range and is useable on cylinders up to 20 inches in diameter.

5. The trunnion adapters are used to position eyeless cylinders in place, though shop chains must be used to secure the cylinder.

6. A mobile safety guard and safety wraps are supplied as standard items.

7. A flow control device regulates the speed of the travel cylinder, nut runner and torque cylinder. The adjustable relief valve permits the torque setting to be preset

8. Cylinder Support Stands, 2 per unit, are used to maintain the correct positioning of the cylinder rod and shell once they have been separated. 

9. The travel carriage assembly is used as the mounting platform for the body portion of the cylinder being serviced and provides the travel capability of the carriage which permits the cylinder being worked to be pulled apart and later reassembled. The travel cylinder is rated at 20,000 lb., and has a 36 inch stroke and travels the entire length of the bed. 

Additionally, the torque ratcheting mounting stand assembly can be moved to the back of the travel carriage, giving the operator the ability to disassemble cap screw type cylinders.

10. The hydraulic package includes a 5 H.P. motor, 40 gallon reservoir with double pump and solenoid. Pressure an flow controls are mounted in a station above the cylinder rod eye clamping plates.
