Three workstations provide for continuous sequenced rebuilding. Each Station is 48" wide to handle most, but not all size of pads. Primary clamping station which uses shop air is capable of 80,000 lb. of clamping force. Clamp mechanism is enclosed for safety and reduced maintenance. Cutting and finish weld stations have convenient foot-operated clamps.Water quench of slag and molten metal under flame cutting station provides maximum safety for operator as well as for entire work area. Torch guide assures accurate trimming of old bar for precise fit of new replacement and pre-heats pads to assure sound welds. Variable speed travel carriage controls weld bead shape and size. All controls are mounted in a master panel with hinged cover for operating convenience and ease of maintenance.
